The Senater family has been in the jewelry business in North America since 1971.
Starting in retail, by the end of the 70’s ‘Nikys’ had a dozen stores and a number of stand-alone kiosks in the nations largest department store chain.
In 1981 our company sold its retail operations and proceeded to focus on its manufacturing and wholesale businesses. Trading under the name Diamond Form it became the 4th largest manufacturer in Canada, renaming itself Mega Jewelry Group in 1986.
The Senater family sold its share in Mega Jewelry Group in 1991 and proceeded to open Design Model Services or DMS Group. (www.designmodelservices.com) DMS Group made jewelry master models and provided line creation services for over 1100 manufacturers worldwide. In its 12 years of its operation before its closing in 2003, DMS Group sold several hundred thousand master models and started a number of trends in North America. DMS Group models have been featured in thousands of trade ads by 85% of the JCK Plumb Club, some of the leading manufacturers in the world.
